Tnemec Series 273 Stranlok is a hand-laid, fiberglass mat reinforced coatings system for walls and ceilings providing cleanability and protection against chemical and physical abuse.

Stranlok 273 is a complete system with a topcoat providing a seamless, monolithic surface that withstands aggressive cleaning techniques including pressurized hot water. Stranlok’s 100% solids epoxy technology is solventless and VOC compliant, making Stranlok virtually odorless and permitting application in occupied facilities.

Its accelerated curing schedule and installation process mean faster return-to-service times. A unique blend of two types of premixed reinforcing fibers allows Stranlok to be hand laid up to 40 mils. The integrity of the interlocking fibers allows the surface to withstand daily high-pressure steam cleaning. In addition to this high tolerance to “thermal shock,” Stranlok also features broad chemical, impact and abrasion resistance.

    Generic Type Polyamine Epoxy
    Common Usage A fiberglass mat reinforced coatings system for walls and ceilings providing cleanability and protection against chemical and physical abuse. Provides a high-performance, smooth, seamless surface with excellent chemical, stain, impact and abrasion resistance.
    Colors 15BR Pale. Note: Epoxies chalk and yellow with age, extended exposure to UV and artificial lighting. Caution should be taken when selecting white and light pastel colors. Lack of ventilation, incomplete mixing, miscatalyzation or the use of heaters that emit carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide during application and initial stages of curing may cause amine blush, possibly affecting adhesion of subsequent topcoats.
